Macquarie River Classic Raft Race

Staff on their raft

 

Saturday 29th March, Dubbo North Staff competed in the Macquarie River Classic Raft Race.

The day was organised by Mr Henry Willcockson of the RSL Dubbo Ducks. It was a charity day with funds going to CanAssist & Dubbo Ducks. They mornings race was followed up in the evening with a dinner & auction at the Dubbo RSL.

The Dubbo North crew battled well coming in third and everyone ending up wet at the end.

The winners of the race were a group captained by Kevin Anderson, with one of the crew of eight, from Dubbo North. A great day & lots of fun was had by all.
